What are the requirements to study abroad at LSE (London School of Economics?

London School of Economics and Political Science - LSE: Which all places should I apply if I plan to do MSc in finance?

  • I completed my bachelors in commerce in 2010 and presently I'm preparing for CA final(equivalent to ACCA). I wanted to know if I should join immediately after completing my CA or take some years of work experience. And, if I decide to join immediately, which all universities I should keep in mind? I am thinking of London School of Economics; please suggest more.

  • Answer:

For MSc in Finance, work experience is not a requirement, and will probably not add value. It would be better if you join immediately post CA. LSE has a great program - MSc in Accounting and Finance as well as MSc in Finance; These should be a good options! An Indian CA is considered in high regard, and it should not be too difficult to get in into one of these programs. The Imperial College, london offers a similar program as do several other universities in the UK, but most are ranked significantly lower than the LSE or the Imperial
