What Twilight Zone episode featured someone searching for a hidden room in a house/castle by hanging sheets from the windows?

I had a book of Twilight Zone stories as a kid, and I remember loving this story, but had never seen the episode. Searching through episode lists, I don't even see a summary that seems like it might be this story. Does anybody have an idea which it might be? Or were there Twilight Zone stories written that just never got filmed? I'm certain this was a "Twilight Zone" story collection.

I know that Sherlock Holmes uses that technique in one of the stories but I can't remember which. I know that's not super helpful but maybe it will give you more information that you can use in your search.

There were several stories in books for The Twilight Zone that were never made into episodes for TV. As I recall there are several different collections of short stories for The Twilight Zone that were published. I know I have read several that were never episodes in either the original or any of the reboots.

It certainly was never an episode of the original series. I have no idea if it were an episode of the reboot series or not as I haven't watched all the episodes.
