We are look for a tool that can visualize the internal org chart of a large, multi-faceted company. Integration with Salesforce will be ideal.

Have you looked into iDashboard? It has an infinite drill-down to handle from corporate levels to countries, divisions, departments ...whatever. It is dynamic so any change goes on live. And is iPad compatible! Though, you´ll have to set it up. No big deal. Can be expensive but worth it.
