Why does my SQL server 2005 express instance, used for BCM for Outlook 2007,keep turning itself off?
-
It seemed to start doing this when I installed a separate instance of SQL server 2008 needed for a separate application
-
Answer:
There is a feature called AutoClose in SQL that auto closes the database when not in use. But I wouldn't expect the install of 2008 to cause this kind of issue, unless you did an upgrade.
