Will others be able to see my pictures on his profile?

How much do Twitter profile pictures/avatars influence you to follow someone?

• It goes without saying that the Twitter profile picture has an influence over determining if you’re going to follow someone. Obviously whenever I see sexygirl5432 (with her risqué photo) mention me I instantly think, “spam.” When I see an egg I instantly think “Spam” and sometimes “noob”.   How do real profile pictures/avatars affect you? Some people use headshots, others use a social picture and then you have those that use a caricature or logo. Preferences?

  I don't think an avatar really influences me one way or another to follow someone. I follow someone because I like the content they share, I think they are funny or witty, I think they are influential, etc. Sometimes if someone has a funny avatar that may persuade me to follow them but that's about it. What gets me is when people change their avatars. I understand that sometimes you want to update your avatar or you get tired of your current one but when I see them in my feed I no longer recognize them! It drives me nuts!
