Where can I find a web development job in Ontario, Canada?

  • Hi, I will moving to Ontario, Canada in several months. I have some experiences in web development, especially in python, javascript, html, css, etc., and I would like to find a web development job in Ontario. In a word,   Which city in Ontario can provide many job opportunities on web development? ------ And some details below. I heard that Waterloo-Kitchener region is the "silicon valley" in Canada and many hi-tech companies are hiring there. However, I searched with the keyword "web" on http://monster.ca and find that few job opportunities are provided in Waterloo and Kitchener. I did some researches on IT companies in Waterloo and found that many of them are hardware- or solution-related companies. Is Waterloo a good place to a web engineer? Should I consider going to Mississauga or Toronto? Thanks. ------------- Update: Finally I found a python developer job in Toronto. As you said, it was far more easier to find a web developer job in Toronto than in Waterloo. Thank you all.

I would focus the attention in the Toronto area as your main experience is with python, JavaScript CSS.   Lots more companies in Toronto utilize those tools like Ad Agencies and small to mid size companies.
