How to clear single product fpc cache in magento?

Why does Magento product import/export suck so badly?

  • I have been trying for days to get magento product import/export working. It's impossible to get categories to work, and errors on import do not give enough information to be useful. Why is this critical feature so badly coded?

  • Answer:

Yes, I'm using 1.5.0.1. Basic problems I have encountered:  images are not recognized in the media/import folder even if they are present, SKU not recognized even though it's present, the system says products are imported successfully even though they don't show in admin (even after index refresh). The system may be a big improvement over the previous import tool, but that's not saying much. Hard to believe such an essential tool is so poorly implemented.

Hello! Actually, it's just DataFlow. Magento 1.5.0.1 has made incredible strides in the import/export process. Exports that previously took 50 minutes now take 50 seconds. I strongly urge you to give it a shot- it's worth it!

It has always worked for me. Confusion may occur if you're running multiple stores on 1 installation. Make sure the store columns in your CSV files are set to the correct store, or set to admin (this is the default).

We've circumvented this problem by building our own custom import tool, much like Unirgy's uRapidFlow or Magento Mass Importer.

You know, I was also suffering from the slow built import) But finally my nerves are not still. I found in google a service that performs really fast import. Now i use only this solution. here is link http://www.file2cart.com/supported-carts/55-magento

Use MAGMI, Its Free and Fast and Best Solution i ever found for bulk import. It amazingly imports 70,000 products in 30 Mins.

Try Enhanced Product Grid to export as CSV but increase the memory limit at least 256MB

I agree with Michael, version 1.5.0.1 is a huge leap over previous versions. What version of Magento are you using?
