Where is the best place to shop in sydney?

Where is the best place (coffee shop with wifi, etc) to study or do other work in Sydney CBD?

  • Answer:

State Library of NSW is open until 8pm Mon-Thu, nice for a quiet spot to get some work done. No coffee after 5pm though.

Not quite the CBD, but Maisy's in Neutral Bay (first bus stop after the bridge) is open 24*7 and has good free wifi and good coffee.

Most university libraries are a good bet. If  you're a student there or know someone who will lend you their ID you can get free wifi on campus. USYD has unlimited free wifi to students, opens until 10pm (sci tech). I recommend usyd engineering "library", get a pod - you're set. The Starbucks near circular quay is decent, free net from the nearby hungry jacks to leech as well.

Serigo Espresso on York St make great coffee and have free wifi. The staff are friendly and there is ample seating which means you won't feel bad hanging around for a few hours.  If you don't mind passerby types, you'll love this place. One of my all time favourite spots to get work done. https://plus.google.com/101538509358126152305/about?gl=au&hl=en
