What are some popular forums/online communities for volunteer work overseas?

I'm looking to recruit some people for user testing & research for a new travel product and would love to know any active forums/sites where people visit to discuss issues relating to volunteering overseas (mainly in third world, particularly Africa). I'm looking for gap year students/graduates as well as those on mid-career sabbaticals, corporate excursions, retired adventures, etc. Any useful answers get a gold star from me.

Not a niche in terms of volunteer work overseas but I find the community at http://travbuddy.com really open and accomodating and can possibly help you out instead of Quora. Also look into the LIP / location independent crowd as well. They are freelancers+travelers group which is fairly close.
