How much does Target pay its employees per hour?

  • Answer:

I worked in a Seattle store during the summer before college and part time for another year (2001-2002). It was $7.25/hour to start, and if you do well on your performance review 9 months after your start date (if I recall the timeline correctly...), you get a whopping 25 cent raise. WHOA. 25 cents. I am gonna be rich.

I worked there from 2008 to 2009 in Utah, and the starting rate was $7.50 an hour. After a year, if you were awesome, you got a 10 cent raise. Wahoo. It sucked. Worst job ever, by the way.

When I worked for Target in a Super Target location from 2007 to 2009, I went from starting at $7.50 per hour to $8.31 when I left. This was in Minnesota.

When I started working at Target as a clerical team member in 2007, I made $7.75. Currently, the starting rate at my Target for a cashier or sales floor team member is $8.00, but it varies by area.
