How does one set Google Secure Search (SSL) as the default search engine for Google Chrome?

-
Answer:
Go to Preferences and then choose Manage Search Engines. Create a new entry with the following URL and make it the default search engine. I use a keyword of "gs": https://encrypted.google.com/search?q=%25s&qscrl=1 If you want to turn personalization and safesearch off too, append this: &pws=0&safe=off
