Is there a way to 'hide' a period of time on the Facebook timeline? E.g., only show highlights after 2009? Or between a range of years or months? Or only to certain friends?

I spent a while looking through the Facebook help pages and it looked like you have to hide items individually... needless to say I don't care to go through years of silly college wall posts and delete them all individually. Am I missing something?

Answer:
No, there is currently no way to do this and to my knowledge we have no immediate plans to implement it.

In privacy there is a setting to "set default view for all previous posts", but you couldn't do say, from 2010 back.
