How To Download Mobile Tv?

How much bandwidth does Comcast use to transmit a standard 30min TV show (or what is a ~180mb download)?  How efficient is the transmission in total file size as compared to a download file of ~180mb (exc. commercials)?

• The 250gb monthly bandwidth cap does not make logical sense to me - a TV left on all day on pointless programming has to use more bandwidth than downloading a SQ TV shows... via iTunes & Netflix HQ of course (naturally this is an assumption that I am looking for some clarity on)...

  A tv left on all day doesn't use anymore bandwidth than a tv turned off. Every channel is broadcasted regardless if you are tuned to it or not.   As far as internet, there is a 250G cap for residential Comcast highspeed internet service.   We recognize that Internet usage patterns are constantly evolving, and we regularly evaluate what policy changes we should make in order to best serve the vast majority our customers.  That is always our first and primary focus.  We regularly evaluate our products, review traffic and top usage volume and patterns, and conduct focus groups and surveys with our customers—all of this work factors into the decisions we make about what products and services to offer, including speeds tiers, usage thresholds, and other components of our service.
