Campgrounds near chillicothe, illinois?

Answer:
Chillicothe RV and Recreation Area: This is a "membership" type park with permanent folks there. I believe it's seasonal (closed during winter). There is a single row of available sites for 'transients' like us, that are all pull-thrus. Maximum length though is 40'. Gate closed and locked at night but you get the combination while staying there. No laundry or store, but there's a laundry in town a few miles down the road. There's also fishing and scuba diving available as one of the kids living there told me there's an old plane (or boat) out in the lake for divers to explore. It's a very big area and the permanent folks all use golf carts (nobody seems to walk), but plenty of places to walk around. It's quiet there and the park met our basic requirements (hookups and reasonable rate). We camped here in a Motorhome.
