Which third party social network is best suited to safely embed music into my website?

• Hello guys, I could really do with some advice please. I would like to use a social networking site such as MySpace,  SoundCloud, ReverbNation etc to embed music on my website because it will also increase those profile stats whenever someone plays the music. My concern is that these popular websites make it so easy for people to download music, minus MySpace of course. I know it is impossible to stop people from completely doing so, but I would hope at least that it isn't as easy as viewing a website source as it is with SoundCloud. In fact, there are numerous websites made specifically to download music from SoundCloud, even if the target user has disabled downloading. This concerns me as these websites have been operating for years and it doesn't appear that SoundCloud has attempted to shut them down. Maybe there's a reason for this, I'm merely pointing it out. Taking the above into consideration, which popular networking site (like the aforementioned) do you recommend I use to embed music onto my website? Thanks in advanced

  I can not help you with your specific question,  but I would like to draw your attention to the legal side of broadcasting music through your website. In order to legally broadcast music through your website,  no matter if it is through a social network,  web radio,  your own radio player through your PC line in...  or a simple repetitive MP3 in your server,  you need to pay for a licence.  Check who is responsible in your country for the rights of the songs,  contact them,  and ask how much it would cost. As a reference,  here in Greece,  the cost is 60€+vat per month,  or 10% of the webpage profit.  Whichever is higher. Sorry I could not help with your specific question,  but I believe I drew your attention to something more important,  as the fine for not having a licence,  is heavy plus the jail time....
