Where can I find cheap textbooks?

Where can I find the textbooks medical schools use & a way to buy old editions cheaply?

  • I don't necessarily plan to go to med school, but in evolutionary biology research, I want to be able to understand the terms/concepts referenced.  I feel the best way to do that would be to have access to medical school textbooks, but where can I find online a list of textbooks used in med school?  Secondly & less importantly, is there anywhere in particular besides Amazon where older editions of these texts can be obtained inexpensively?  I'll pay $10 via PayPal for anyone who can provide me a list of textbooks used at a particular med school.

    Robbins and Cotran is the bible of medical students (not to say we actually read it)  but it contains most of the content of medical school...you can get it on amazon or any other seller, used is cheaper.  there are also more concise versions
