How to create html5 audio playlist?

Free or cheap HTML5 audio player?

  • I'm looking to create a page to host some DJ mixes I've created on my site. I'd like to have an HTML5 audio player with a waveform (or at least a seek bar), volume control and if at all possible, a download button. Even better if it could have a playlist underneath too. I've had a Google around and it's rather confusing with lots of talk of jquery and html5 and little instructions. I'm no expert on the web, but can follow simple instructions for set up - so far, I've found a few things but require some development know-how. I don't mind paying for one, but not a crazy amount of course. And no I don't want to pay Soundcloud a ton of money to upload a few mixes. I've also tried Mixcloud, but it stutters and buffers every 2 seconds, and I'm on a very decent broadband connection. Any help appreciated!

    Check out http://kolber.github.io/audiojs/ if you haven't already, it looks pretty simple to use - you can check out how to make it work with playlists by going to the playlist example and then right click -> view source.
