What are some popular interview questions for a serving position and what would be some good answers?

I assume it is a server in a restaurant. Dress neat and look the interviewer in the eye. Mostly common sense about courtesy and what would you do if you came across a spill or some other problem. Remember to report everything to your immediate supervisor.

Always, ALWAYS make the point that you are in favor of TEAM WORK in any interview. Interviewers love that one.. Mention that if you see another worker struggling with a heavy load at the moment that you'd jump at the chance to help them and that you don't believe in that "it's not my job" garbage. Mention that your primary focus would be making sure that every guest that walked into that restaurant had a smile on their face the whole way through their experience; that tending to their every need in order to make this THE BEST meal, service, and experience that they EVER had.
