How to get started in sonography?

Is traveling on public transportation(bus) for 2 hrs to get to a college to much?

  • The college that has an accredited program(Diagnostic Medical Sonography) is 2 hrs away from me and I really want to go for this program and get my degree, but im on the bus... Am I crazy to travel this far just to go to school,,, I havent started yet Im just going to do the walk through thing & get more info & see what happens

Think about the pioneers that walked miles everyday just for water. A bus ride for school doesn't sound bad.

Let me get this straight, two hours is not too long of a time. I used to spend 1 1/2 hours on a bus going to college and another 1 1/2 going home, I got by it. It just requires estimating your commute time prior to classes. Personally, I enjoyed taking the bus because it allowed me to study and do homework to and from college. Furthermore, if that is what your truly want to do as a career don't hesitate go for it and see how everything goes. Best of luck.

Well if you think paying thousands of $'s just to go to college is worth it a two hour bus ride should really be worth it too lol.
