I had similar problems with numbness and tingling was diagnosed firstly with a trapped nerve , this continued till on second opinion was inflamed disc aggravating sciatic nerve and anti inflammatory and painkillers at first alleviated symptoms ,chiropractor fixed it right out few weeks later, haven't had any problems since and thats over 10 years ago .hope this helps!!

Hopefully it is a pinched nerve. Try a chiropractor. But definitely tell your doctor also just in case. A lot of illnesses or conditions have similar symptoms.
