  It would be great if you could remove the plastic speaker grill and work from there but it is glued in and access to the speaker screws would be behind the door panel anyway. AND Before you do this job consider replacing the window motor as it has considerable wear and you are half way there anyway. SO...Get out your screwdrivers! I changed the speakers in the 95 240sx se. First and foremost have a cup or plastic zip lock bags for the screws so they don't get lost on the floor. Start first by removing the vanity caps (plastic plugs) in the door handle well and the master switch well (down in the bottom of the door pull.) Remove those screws. The door handle trim slides past the handle and out. Remove the screws at the bottom of the interior door panel. Take your time and I think there are three or so. There are round plastic plugs; pry them out Put a thin piece of cardboard or tape on the painted surface and pry the door panel with a thin wide blade; there are plug like clips which are attached to the door panel. Test to see that the panel is free on the left and right sides. Now comes the tricky part. Remove the electrical plug which attaches the harness to the master switch. The trim and switch unit will lift out a little way but not entirely. You'll need a little screw driver to do this. Once again take your time as this switch is expensive. The door panel is now held by the door handle and the top piece which holds part of the rubber gasket. Wiggle the door panel free from the door handle and lift the whole panel straight up skyward. Keep the panel aligned in the same vertical position There are clips which hold the panel to that portion of the window/door frame. The rubber gasket and clip arrangement stays attached to the door panel. If not you'll have a little work putting it back on reassembly It has some wild looking claws which hold it to the panel. You're free and clear to work on the speaker which is attached to a white nylon speaker housing. 4 more screws and the speaker is out.Reassembly is the reverse. If you get into trouble with the plastic insulation behind the door panel make sure you put it back into position otherwise you'll have a nasty draft and some moisture issues. Enjoy your tunes!
