How do I install the minecraft Texture pack?

Minecraft Keeps Crashing When I Try to Change my Texture Pack?

• I recently downloaded a Texture Pack and installed it and all that Jazz, but when I went to change my texture pack on the game, it turns into a black screen. I can see all my Texture Packs on the list, but even when I try to go back to the title page, it crashes. I've deleted all my Texture Packs and cleared all my files, re-installed my mods and it still keeps crashing when I click anything on the Texture Pack menu. I know it has nothing to do with the one mod that I have on there, because it was working with the mod before. It just started when I installed a new pack and went to use it. I'm at a loss of what the problem could be because I have done everything I could think of. I use a Macintosh! All help is appreciated.
