WHY WONT MY PHONE TURN ON? BEST ANSWER 10 POINTS?

I have a Samsung galaxy gio. bought it 5 weeks ago, pretty new. its not damaged physically. its rooted. I tried downloading the ROM for cyangmod and i put it in the sd card, turned the power off and right after I cant turn it on whatsoever. I cant access anything from it. just wont turn on... It wont even go into download-recovery mode. I think is bricked. its fully charged. I tried taking the memory card and battery few times still no luck. Please help! best answer 10 points!

You corrupted your OS installation. You have to take it to your manufacturer to get it to turn on.
