Can I use a small photo album as the album for scrapbooking?

Hiya, I was just wondering if I could use a photo album as a album for a scrapbook? Basically ive got a small photo album with the plastic pockets which I thought I could use for storing my scrapbook pages? Im pretty new to scrapbooking and was thinking of doing a small one to start with, but im not sure if this would be a good idea or if it would look good?? what do people think? :)

Answer:
Yes you can do this! A 4 x 6 album is a good size to use. You can do a mini-scrapbook page using patterned paper or card stock, and have the photo on the other facing page. Or you can put little photos on each page with a small journal entry or word phrase. If you think the photo album is too small, you can always get an 8x8 album at the dollar store for a larger area to work with.
