Why was my Yahoo Question Removed?

Why was my question removed by yahoo?

  • I asked a simple, rational, innocent question - Can you make money online without referrals? and then i got a email from yahoo saying they had removed it as it compromised regulations??? what is that all about? when there are questions ive seen still on saying why dont muslims f**** off back home? i contacted yahoo to appeal but as usual yahoo never reply.

  • Answer:

thats because yahoo have certain community guidelines and if you post a question which is deemed inappropriate or offence it will be deleted from yahoo.

this is because despite appearances we live in a very structured restrictive censored society I too have had that same control put over what as you also have experienced of having my question removed because it apparently isn't what the site owners will accept as a genuine honest question We live in a "democratic society"?? least that's what some people would want you to believe the truth well.....Decide for yourselves I fully expect to have issues with both this line of questioning and my answer (They might decide to delete this as well) As he who cannot see cannot disclose malicious or false truths.......The ruling classes have always held the general populous back by such practices

If that is all you posted (no links, no added details), then format would be the problem. Note that your version could simple be answered by 100 people "no", which really adds nothing to everyone's knowledge or the YA database. Always start your questions with who, what, when, where, why and you can stay out of this corner. For example, "What methods can be used to make money online without referrals?" requires a factual answer and not just yes/no. Now if you added links or other added details, the violation reported may be in those areas. In the future, if you want to know the reason for the violation, post "Why was this question (answer) a violation?" and add the original e-mail you got so the users can see the exact context. The experienced users here will explain it to you. There is no statute of limitations on breaking the YA rules.

It is confusing to me too. I had Yahoo tell me a few of my answers were bad because I put a link in but they were to help other people, not links to my own site. So now I am just careful about posting any links.

It probably got removed by their algorithms since your question might of seemed like a scam to the filters. "make money online without referrals" is probably what triggered the filters to remove your post.
