Which is the best Tattoo Studio in London?

Help, couple about to be homeless in london with our dog!?

  • ok, so im at my wits end and this is the last thing I can think to to do :( Due to a change in circumstances (our landlord in our current house share is kicking us all out next month) my boyfriend and I are soon to become homeless if we cannot find a place to live fast. We have tried contacting estate agents (who so far have just told us they will keep our details but cant help us at the moment) and going through all the house sharing websites as we are not earning enough to rent a flat to ourselves. Basically he is a student and I moved to London to follow my dreams (working in a tattoo studio) and for a while everything was looking perfect but our landlord kicking us out has left us unable to find somewhere fast enough and no amount of pleading will make a people consider taking us on with the dog. People will take on couples with children and smokers but wont even consider a well trained, crate trained, fur-less show dog...?! Basically I was wondering if anyone here could point us in the direction of someone who could help? :,(

  • Answer:

You have 2 options. 1) Get rid of the dog and see if that will help you find a rental accomodation. 2) Move in with your parents with your dog, and your BF move into student digs.

People are crazy, I know. Contact the RSPCA and see if they know of any dog-friendly living quarters in your area.

If you have tattoos, i wouldn't rent to you either.

You've got about 3 options: contact your dog's breeder for help (in re-homing, or taking the dog back) or send your dog back to somebody in your family or ask a friend to house the dog, for now. In the States LOTS of apartments, allow dogs, too bad you can't relocate.

Omg that's a horrible situation. Have you thought of staying with a relative? Try every estate agent possible and keep nagging. Really beg with the landlord and explain the situation to everyone you meet. Make sure people know this is urgent! Good luck. I hope you the best 💔❤❤❤❤

I think you should maybe take your dog to a local pound ONLY when you get kicked out. Or when you lose someplete hope. Or tie him/she infront of the place and later claim the dog as yours and say one stole it. I hope you get luckier.

Have you tried hostels, contacting the council, homeless shelters? Talking to citizens advice as well to make sure the landlord is doing everything legally ,which could buy you some time.

why not visit a local shelter (e.g. battersea) and explain the situation.... ask if they know any good ways to find dog friendly accomodation .. or even if they would be willing to write a reference for the behaviour/suitability of your dog? (take pictures of your current home to show there is no damage... and ask for a reference from the landlord and house share person) ... collect everything you can to argue your case. Ask estate agents to contact the landlords of apartments even if they say no dogs and ask if they would consider reviewing your individual case with the references etc you have gathered many landlords say no dogs because it is easier than dealing with the possibility that a dog will rip up carpeting, soil carpeting, chew skirting boards or wall corners or door frames.... dogs are capable of causing a LOT of damage. ... it is well known that this is not necessarily how ALL dogs are, but its far safer to say no dogs than to risk it. So, if you are interested enough to want to discuss with the landlord, offer to have them meet your dog or to simply review references then a landlord may change his/her mind. Offering to cover the cost of a complete clean of carpets and any soft furnishings when you move out may also persuade them as some are fussy about "that dog smell" (showing that you take the dog to the groomers and bathe it regularly will again work in your favour) be active in your search ... look on rightmove or similar websites wherever you live and find places you are interested in and call up about them specifically do not leave it up to estate agents to show you things, particularly when it comes to looking for a dog friendly place... they are few and far between and it will most likely require some request from you for consideration. Estate agents are there to do as you ask and to get properties rented... if you ask they should call up and ask the landlord. slightly different but i have applied the same theories in securing properties that state "no students" ... this is again an issue of .. students can cause damage, spill drinks, be noisy etc so its easier to say no. good luck!

Did you have a Tenant agreement with your landlord? Has he given you 28 days to find some where else to live there are laws protecting you against this my advice is go to your local CAB and get some legal advice quickly. Have you applied to the council housing list. That is something you should be doing and any Housing associations in your area in am in the UK but down south. What part of London would you be prepared to go further out of London to get a place . What Breed is the dog do you have no friends or family that can board the dog for you for a bit . Landlords can be funny regarding pets but as you have a dog finding some where is going to be difficult. Try the Dogs trust i know they help people living on the streets with there dogs there might be some help they can give you all. Good luck Edit..If this is a case of keeping your dog then stay with relatives or see if they will take the dog i live on the south coast and London is 45 miles away from ME so dont give up the option of some one either taking the dog or staying with relatives. As for the council there policy has changed .
