What is the best surround sound system for 400 dollars? With amazing bass and sound?

  • I want to be able to play my dubstep music loud and it be amazing sound and great bass. And i want the speakers to be hanging on the wall if possible, any one help? I will spend max 500$. at least 4 speakers please ,thank you

    Loud, good and cheap surround system ? Sorry not possible. To buy a complete surround system at $500 first its not going to be good. Second its not going to play loud. A 'decent" surround system which is 5.1 speakers, a receiver, dvd player of blu ray player, Not to mention a high definition television, cant be bought for under a grand let alone $500. Even if your talking just speakers alone its not possible. Good speakers are going to be at least a 6 or 7 hundred then you you need amplification. Anyone that recommends speakers at the price range your hoping to find something at is not going to be good, or even loud. Sorry Kevin 40 years high end audio video specialist

Look at an Onkyo HT-S3400, it is a 5.1 receiver and a set of speakers. Those other home theater in a box are not flexible for adding anything to them or for up grading. Demo the system at any Fry's Electronic and let your own ears be the judge. The system will cost you under $400. Hope this will help you out.

Axiom QS8 surround sound speakers. The link below has a price of $528 USD but if you shop around or maybe even talk to them, you should be able to get a set within your max of $500USD. http://www.axiomaudio.com/qs8.html I know of no better rationale, nor a manufacturer who has been around for such a long time that offers a better bang for the proverbial buck at this price point. These speakers have genius written all over them. Best.

Logitech Z-906. 5.1 surround-sound with the most amazing sound quality and bass I have ever experienced. Also you barely need the bass on when playing dubstep or else your whole neighborhood will shake. I have them and it's the best thing I have bought since forever.
