Sun stroke how long can it last?

The weathers been nice so I've been sunbathing.. Will I get sun stroke?

  • I live in england I'm eighteen and healthy, our weather has been in the 24-26C I've got scalp protector at spf 15 and I have malibu oil spray at spf 10 and I use after sun when I come in. I'm burnt on my chest arms and shoulders and back (nothing really happened on my legs) I drink a lot of water but I sit in the sun for at least 2 hours maximum the last 3 days. Am I going to get a sun stroke? Should I use a higher spf? I'm not peeling I just feel slightly hot and tingly.

  • Answer:

A sun BURN is possible. A sun STROKE (which is what occurs when your body's cooling mechanism stops working, and your internal body temperature rises) isn't likely, as long as you stay hydrated.
