Unit 731 an alternative to animal testing?

  • so in history class we're having a debate on the ethics of animal testing. for me i will use an example called unit 731 as an alternative. unit 731 was in world war 2 it was a team of japanese scientists who conducted experiemnts but didn't use animals and fiound lots of great results. what u think

Unit 731 was the Japanese equivalent of the Slav/Jewish holocaust that the nazis carried out, the death toll was much lower but the methods used were far more horrific and inhumane I agree with human testing over animal testing - we should use prisoners jailed for life and sex offenders instead of innocent animals, but Unit 731 was not productive at all and an insult to real science, just as animal testing is an insult to real science... If you determine live dissections, using humans as grenade targets and dropping plague bombs as 'great results' there is something wrong with you.
