How to schedule my study time?

(ANIME+MANGA FANS) How do you schedule your time? Help!?

  • I'm really starting to get addicted to anime and manga.. Finals are coming soon and I need to study. Also summer is coming and I need to lose weight quickly. I keep putting off everything until the last minute. Sometimes I spend the whole day watching an anime or reading manga. I get so distracted and forget about the time.. :( So I'm hoping some anime and manga fans would understand what I'm feeling now. How do you guys schedule your time? I need advice. Thanks! :)

  • Answer:

Yeah, i was in that situation also(even in the losing weight thingy). But i've managed it now. This is what i do, i wake up early (6:00) and start exercising in 1 hr. Then after that i start reading manga and watching anime in ONLY 4 hrs. you must discipline yourself so i think 4 hrs is enough. And i recommend to you that do your likings first so you can be satisfied then start studying because for me,if you are satisfied in the first place then you will be motivated to study afterwards. Thats my schedule, hope it helps you. :) ~ oh BTW, i'm doing this in weekend so gambatte~!

Sell/burn all of your anime stuff. Studying is much more important.

You can exercise while watching anime! Face a tredmill towards the TV... or find exercises that allow you to watch it. When your studing take a brake, and set a timer to read/watch for a certain amount of time. Since i am still in school, and its the end of the school year, i dont really need to study anymore so i always watch anime whenever i feel lol.

It's really hard for me. But what I do is that I finish the anime that I'm watching and I don't watch anymore. Instead I watch ongoing anime (anime that airs once a week) So I watch about 2 epiosdes of ongoing anime a day and I make sure not to start anything new. I also read ongoing manga but don't start anything new. That way you get a fix but you can't read/watch too much.

I don't read manga, and I don't watch anime that quickly. I average only a couple of anime episodes per day. There were a couple of cases when I really needed the time, and in those cases I finished the show I was watching, then swore off anime and told myself I hadn't earned the next show until I'd gotten through the stuff I needed to do. That seemed to work. So I guess all I can say is, make your own guilt work in your favor, and teach yourself that anime-watching time needs to be in the 'free time' part of your day and not the 'time you need to do other stuff' part.

I've had my exams already, and deadlines for my Art and Photography coursework, I left everything to last minute because of my addiction to anime and because I find it extremely hard to work at home, even though my Art hasn't gone as well, I feel confident enough about my English and Photography, but I must warn you, do not make my mistakes and leave it to until the last minute! You're better off stopping watching anime and reading manga until your exams are over, once they're all done you can watch as much anime and read as much manga as you wish! But if you want to schedule it, what I did was study all day at on a saturday and on a sunday I would watch anime, read manga all day and do stuff that I wanted to, then when I went to sixth form in all my free time I tried to catch up on my work. Trust me, I know exactly how you're feeling, I'm just glad it's all over for me now, but it'll be starting again soon, my teachers are already going on about A2 coursework and exams, it's dreadful! D': But luckily my next Art project is on culture, and I chose Japan, so I get to draw anime! :D Good luck with your finals and at least try to cut out anime out of your life just for a little while, I know it's hard, but it's for the best! :)

Okay I know anime/manga is a fabulous thing but studying is much more important! if you absolutely want time to watch anime take 5 minute breaks to watch or read it (This is where I recommend hetalia since the episodes are short and you can usually watch them in no precise order) and during the summer exercise and watch anime at the same time XD
