What longboard should I get?

What type of longboard should I get?

  • New to longboarding, never skateboarded, surfed, etc. I want a longboard that will help me get the basics down and I will probably be using it for commuting and maybe a little downhill once in a while. I am around 5'7" and 130 lbs do you guys have any suggestions on the type of longboard i should get and if so any brands and decks, trucks, and wheels? Thanks!

    i would go with a pintail. For commuting and some small hills, you cannot get a better board than the Earthwing Superglider. I would also suggest you look at some of the Bustin boards. Some of them are designed for great commuters and there are also some for downhill.
