How to not allow access if not logged in?

Looking for a hosting site that will allow me to upload a MS access database & allow others permission to edit?

  • I'm currently working on a MS access 2007 database for a local online forum. I was planning on using Google Cloud to allow others to edit, add, search and access the database. However, I just learned that google cloud doesn't support MS access only word, excel and ppt. Can someone help me find a share program that will allow me to set certain permissions for people, upload a access database along with the other things I'm looking for? I would like this sharepoint to be free as I'm not getting paid for this and don't feel like spending my own money.

You can host a domain with them as well, absolutely free. If you are using access as a database method, I believe PHP has a connector for it. You might look into it.

Access was designed to be used by a single, or small number of users on a local area network, it was not designed to be shared over the internet. Even if you could find a host that would allow you to create a Windows file share it would still be very unreliable. To give people access to a database over the web you really need a proper server based database like MySQL or SQL Server, and then a web application that is used to access that database.
