What is inorganic art?

What is Art? What makes it good or bad? What makes it true art?

• What makes anything art? Where is the line between bs and art? I love it so much, but I hate it. Famous modern art doesn't make me think or feel anything, but annoyed because there are so many talented undiscovered people out there. There's no skill, no talent, no creativity anymore. Well, there still is, but it seems undermined by all this other bs that's coming out. I'm not saying that the only real art is realism. If you've ever tried it, abstract and "stylized" art is quite challenging, but when a Pollock sells for more than a Rubens.. Isn't there something slightly wrong with that? Maybe tomorrow someone will wake up and decide to use their alarm clock as a sculpture and call it idk.. The Reincarnation of Our Problematic Society and then have it showcased in a museum. Maybe I'm being slightly close minded, but come on what's up with Modern Art? I don't know what art is anymore. Help me out, what is ... Art?

  Your thought reminds me of when I was in my senior year in highschool. After taking three years of art classes, drawing objects, faces, comics, etc., I started to think if it had been worth it. At the beginning I started to look at art schools to apply to. After setting up all my work and receiving my art teachers recommendation...I threw those applications away. I realized I didn't want to be an architect or interior design. I realized I wanted to do art. But how would I ever accomplish anything near as great as the artist I have studied and analyzed in my art classes. Then I realized. Art to me was the one thing that helped me survive my troublesome childhood and confusing teen years. In my drawings (the ones I drew on my own time) reflected who I was, what I was going through. I think art is something you draw, it comes from within. There's no one who can tell you what is art and what is not. Art come in various forms, and styles. There many great artist out there who never made it to the top but that doesn't make there work any less real. Anyways, that's my opinion. Art comes from within, many will advise you what is art but they're just really telling you how THEY see, and make THEIR art. Your art, Theresa only one person who realky knows that; YOU!
