How to convert asp to php?

Which one to choose ASP.NET or PHP? I am very confused. Software professionals of India please help me.?

• Hi I am an MCA Graduate of 2009 batch. But still I am fresher. I have one year teaching experience. But after that I started to prepare for the Govt Sectors. But Now I want to go back into software. But I am confused between ASP.NET & PHP. According to my research the job 1. In PHP the time to learn is 2-3 months for ASP.NET you will need around 6 months. 2. The job scope in PHP is more than ASP.NET because PHP is open source and mostly used by small companies. 3. The salary packages in PHP is less. The starting salary is 5-7K/Month. And if you compare interms of experience the ASP.NET guys are getting good salary as compared to PHP guys with the same years of experience. 4. You can quickly get job in PHP. If you start to learn now, You may get a job in 3-4 months with 5-7k/Month package. But to start with ASP.NET you will find it difficult to get a job in market. 5. When searching job online, You can see that PHP experience range start from minimum 0.6-1yr to +. But in ASP.NET the range start with 2-3yrs to +. 6.Salary Package is mainly depend upon the size of your company. Whether its PHP or ASP.NET you will get a good sum. 7. You will get PHP job anywhere, But ASP.NET job is based nainly on IT Cities like Banglore,Hyderabad,Pune etc. Sorry guys If you find anything wrong in my analysis. Please make it correct with your suggestions and guidances. And tell me what should I do. I need a job quickly because I lost a lot of time back. Almost 3years because my teaching experience will not matter anything. Please guide me . Its a request to all software professionals in India.
