Can people picker resolve NTLM users in an FBA extended site?

Do yahoo pay people to pose as users on this site, so they can collect information about you? the reason i ask?

  • ....is because the number of answers people get is usually less than 10, occassionally 20. but when you read their blog on the homepage, questions have had like, 154 thumbs ups? if all those people were using the site, why is the reality so different? i mean, have you ever seen a question that has had such a large number of answers or thumbs ups, cos i never have? dont you think that is a little dodgy?

No. I think you are being a bit cynical. There is a lot of knowledge out there, and this forum is useful, but then again the feedback and response you get to your question, depends very much on the way that you phrase it and how good your communication is. So to sum up the response you get depends on how you tell it, how people interpret it, and whether they think they have the knowledge or time to respond. Of course how you choose to take it is another matter.

Many of these sites do collect personal info on users in order to sell this to marketing co's and to use for their own marketing research. Yes, they do and have been doing this all along. Non computer companies have been doing this for many years without computers.
