What type of snowboard should i get?

  • I am 75kg and 175cm. Want to get a snowboard, have had a month in the snow so i really just need an intermediate board. How long should it b?. Usually i just board around the mountain, don't go in the park that often. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

    about 150-155cm long, dont get a board thats too flexible if you dont wanna ride a park !!! Some brands like Lamar or 5150 may be your type, they make alot of board for your level and style of riding, good size, stiffness level and more affordable then some other boards...

75 kg = 165 lbs 175cm = 5'9" It's based mainly off weight, riding style, and boot size. You'd be fine on something in the mid 150's.. I'd probably go for something in the 154-158 range if you're goofing off around the mountain. I can't tell you if you need a wide or not.

get a snowboard that comes up to inbetween ur chin and nose so probobly a 158 or something and just get any snowboard really doesnt matter when u start out
