Is this a good start for a story?

Do you think this is a good way to start a story?

  • Before writing the first chapter I'm writing about a page from all the characters point of view, then I'm writing normal chapters sometimes from only 1 persons point of view sometimes with more than 1 persons point of view. Do you think this is a good way to start a story? Thanks in advance :D

It does sound like an inventive way to approach a story, and, done properly, might work out very well. Of course, "there are two ways to tell a story: tell it well, and all the other ways." And conversely, there is no basic idea so good that it cannot be bungled. Good luck, and I'd love a look when you're done.
