Which one to buy XBOX 360 250 OR PS3?

I suggest that for online gaming go for xbox and for online gaming which is reasonable but blu ray player and good graphic go for ps3. i have a ps3 which works well but lacks a very little bit in online gaming but compensates in graphics and blu ray player. so i suggest u go for ps3.

Xbox 360: - Offers better graphics - Has more games - The Kinect is cool - Has 2GB more memory on Hard Drive (I think) - More people play on it, so it's more likely you'll find a match of FFA or whatever - Sometimes the Mics can stuff up after 1-2 years

They are practically the same in graphics controllers are a lit different if your a xbox player then you'll love the xbox 360 but if u like playing playstation any most likely you'll like the ps3 controller games xbox has halo gears of war ps3 has god of war metal gear solid and many more but I cnt think of ny at this moment and for xbox you will have to play monthly and ps3 you won't and if u want to talk to ppl you might want a xbox because alot of ppl have mica not as much in ps3 hope I helped there almost the same just choice the one tht u have the most friends on

It depends what you want, but XBox is better for gaming (but you have to pay for XBox Live), and PS3 is better for all around entertainment.

What I like MOST about the Xbox 360: 1) More people have it. In other words, all my friends, family and coworkers have Xbox 360s. Which also means if I want to play online with them, I have to use my Xbox, which is also a con for me. (I'd rather use my PS3 because of the better graphics and lighter/smaller controller). 2) I can download games, updates and demos in the background, even with the Xbox turned off. So I can start a download and go to bed without leaving the box on all night. (The PS3 cant do this) 3) When I download a game (full or demo), I can play it immediately. On the PS3, you have to download it (which could take over an hour), then install it (which could take another 10-30+ minutes), at which time your PS3 is unusable until it completes. 4) My late generation Xbox elite has lasted longer then my first generation PS3 (surprisingly) 5) It doubles as a Media Center extender. I have a PC that records shows for me in Media Center (like a Tivo but no monthly fees). I can access these shows and watch live TV over the network via my Xbox. This is a VERY cool and under-talked about feature. And most people with a Windows PC can do this; look it up. 6) The console and games (new and used) are cheaper than the PS3.
