Need Tips for Hair to Grow Faster and Longer?
-
So I got my last haircut this year in early of January and it hasn't grown that much. It's grown a tad bit but not that much like it usually does. It usually grows faster but for some reason this time it isn't doing that this time. Idk if it's because of the consistent hair dying and bleaching or heat products but I need some tips or suggestions on how to help my hair repair and grow faster and longer. I've heard of this avocado hair mask thing but does that even work? Tips and suggestions are welcome! Thanks. Btw, I haven't dyed or bleached my hair for 2 months so that's good and I am trying to not use hot hair products as much either. Just adding that, if that makes a difference.

Healthy hair grows about 1/2" a month. But you can do a few things to help it grow slightly faster. First make sure you keep the dead ends trimmed off. If you fail to do this your hair will split up the hair shaft, making it dry, frizzy and damaged. Keeping the ends healthy helps a great deal. Next make sure you are eating a well balanced diet; whole grains, fruits, veggies, lean meats, low fat dairy and at least 8 full glasses of water a day. You can also add a multivitamin. These do wonders for hair growth. Adding biotin adds to hair health. Do not purchase vitamins or other supplements marketed for hair growth, they are expensive gimmicks and do not work as well. Take care of your hair by using a good quality shampoo and conditioner for your hair type. Unfortunately most drug store brands are loaded with detergents and sulfates that dry out and damage hair. Check out Matrix Biologe or Redken, or any other professional brand. Any cosmetologist who can actually see and feel your hair will be able to recommend the best products for you. Only shampoo your hair when it is dirty. Many people think they need to shampoo everyday, unless your hair is dirty don't do it, it will strip the natural oils and damage your hair. Wet hair is fragile- never aggressively towel dry your hair, squeeze the towel to remove excess water. Never brush your hair when it is wet, this stretches the hair and can cause breakage. Only use a wide tooth comb on wet hair. Always use a thermal protective spray or serum before you use any heated styling tool. When possible give your hair a break and let it dry naturally and don't use a curling iron or straightening iron every day. Massaging your scalp can increase blood flow to the hair follicle and can help as well. www.matrix.com www.redken.com Check out their websites to find a salon in your area that carries them. Keep avoiding the chemical treatments. Your hair may have been breaking off. Happy Growing.

Healthy hair growth starts with good nutrition. Your hair needs certain nutrients to grow properly. This can be achieved by getting enough of the right fats, vitamins, and minerals from your diet, or from dietary supplements. There are also some other supplements that may also be able to help, like saw palmetto, Pygeum Africanum, MSM, and grape seed extract. I like Caribbean Hair Grow, but you should talk to your doctor before you do, or take anything, and also do your own research (wikipedia, pubmed, etc.) as well. Hope this helps...

if you use heat things, use heat protectants so your hair doesn't get damaged. Also, take multi vitamins daily. Dont get trims too much, your hair will just get shorter and shorter.. Use mane N tail shampoo. all of these things help hair growth :) I really hope I helped

eat onion, it really does work, just brush your teeth afterwards if you're seeing someone and don't blow dry hair
