How can I hook my phone up to my car to play music?

Is there someway to hook my phone up to my car's stereo to play music?

  • I have a Chevy Malibu 04 and there is not a usb or audio input and I have an android phone.

    Dont spend 200$ on a new radio, go to autozone and buy a ipod connecterbkit. Plugs rite into the aux cable on the back oc your radio, its simple can be done in less then 5 min. The only problem your going to have is finding a place to bring out the ipod cable :)

Stay away from anything with FM transmitters modulator you can add an auxiliary audio input interface to the Chevy Malibu oem radio, the Malibu radio needs to have a band button or be xm ready this is the interface you need gm12-aux http://www.oemautosound.com/c-83-chevrolet-auxiliary-input-converters.aspx

depends on the car stereo, mine has both usb and 1/8" stereo inputs... if you dont, you need the fm adapter, they're cvrap. ifyoure 'gonna spend $100 on an adapoter, may as well spend $150 on a stereo which has this feature built in...
