How do i change my Internet name and password?

My dad wants me to change our WIFI name and password to stop the neighbours getting into it. But our computer is broken and i'm trying to change it via my Macbook with the ethernet cable plugged into it. BUT he lost the instruction manual and i can't seem to find anything for it. I just want to change the name from 'BIGPOND*******' to something else and the access password.
