What is an Act of God?

Most of the world believes in the same God 4.1 billion out of 6.8billion so why do atheist act like what God?

  • are you talking about there are thousands of them? They know what God people are talking about the one most people believe in that God.

  • Answer:

Why the outright lie? come on you used to post intelligently so what has changed? Add christians and muslims together and they amount to just under a third of the world population the majority of the rest is made up of atheists and religions without gods!! So they are in the majority here! Try the truth closer to home! The churches own figures show only 28% ever attend church in a year. Indeed if 28% ever tried to attend church on the same day, even working shifts, there is simply not enough churches! But count the bars - in many places there is more space In the bars than the churches! Count all the seats in every church in a town and compare that to the population and it is very unlikely to achieve even 5%! This is true right through the bible belt and in Salt Lake City! Are you running away from reality?!

Most Christians and Muslims I've talked to do not believe the other worships the same God as themselves. Most of them believe the other group will go to hell. Irregardless, just because a mob of people believe something is true does not make it true. That is very poor reasoning to think so.

Philosoraptor

No, they don't. The 30,000 different christian sects can't even agree amongst themselves what "god" is. And the muslims certainly don't believe in the same god. Neither do the jews. Not that it matters, since all you offered up was a fallacious appeal to popularity anyway. But at least get your facts straight when tossing out a fallacy. Peace.

If they believe in the same god, why kill one another for not having the same god?

There are many Gods that have been created by mythos throughout the ages... Even the God of Abraham alone has different variations as to how he is perceived by his believers, causing him to be that believers very own god apart from their fellow believers.... There has been more than one delusional character recognized as god in this world..

So we should dismiss the validity of others beliefs because one is more popular? Popular doesn't make right, look at how many people eat at McDonnalds. Doesn't make what is served there good does it? edit: Philosor, I would give you thums up if you didn't use the word “irregardless.” I can't condone that

Prison Mike

There are thousands of gods who have lost their foothold and been reduced to mythology. Your god (the most "popular" god ) is going to suffer the same fate in due time. Won't that be funny?
