How do I fix my Nintendo 64 controller that won't connect?
-
I got an n64 controller online a while ago and it worked well at first, but then it started having connection problems. When I plug it in it now almost always says there is no controller plugged in. I checked the wire connections inside the controller and they are solid. I moved the wire around by the plug to check if there was any sort of problem with it, but it didn't help. If I had to guess, I'd say the issue is inside the plug part of the controller, but I'm not sure. I can't find a good way to clean it and I can't open it up. The issue is not with the n64 sockets either, I checked them with a working controller and they work fine. Also, PLEASE DO NOT tell me to buy a new one (that seems to happen a lot around here), that doesn't help anyone and I obviously want to try and fix it myself. Thanks in advance
