How to upgrade car audio?

Im looking to upgrade my car's audio since my subs blew out a while ago. Is this a good set-up?

  • Im looking for pretty much a full upgrade. I've been looking on Best Buy but I don't know anything about car audio and how to hook it up. The first is the head unit. I was looking at the Pioneer - 50W x 4 MOSFET Apple® iPod®-Ready In-Dash CD Deck with MP3 Playback head unit. Link:http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Kenwood+-+1000W+Class+AB+Bridgeable+2-Channel+Amplifier+with+Low-Pass+Crossover/9760439.p?id=1218168618824&skuId=9760439&st=Select_Car_Audio_On_Sale_20120525&cp=1&lp=1 And for the subs I want 2 Kicker - Comp 12" Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofer. Link: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Kicker+-+Comp+12%22+Single-Voice-Coil+4-Ohm+Subwoofer/9892921.p?skuId=9892921&productCategoryId=abcat0302037&id=1218190731552 Would this set up be good enough to power the subs and how much would the installation cost be, roughly? Thanks in advance for the help. I have a '98 Eclipse, if that is any factor.
