Is it wrong for me to say that they should have given the jews another piece of land so no wars were started?
-
Im saying that why did the UN give the jews a piece of land that belonged to another group of people who for centuries had been living there and had their families there and were very established in that area. When the ex holocausts came there they can not really be that disappointed that the arabs wanted to defend their homes and land that they had been living in for centuries? Instead the UN should have given land that was inhabited and so the jews and everyone else could live in peace, and so no conflicts would happen and no wars. I understand that the jews wanted it because it had religious significance to them but I agree with the arabs and Palestinians on this one they cannot be expected to roll over and let them take what they want

Answer:
It's your opinion, but in the end, what was done was done. Complaints can be made but history is history, after all.

Brittany, It didn't belong to another group of people. Jews have always lived in the Holy Land and it is their traditional ancestral homeland. The "other" group of ersatz people your refer to identified nowadays as the "Palestinians" are a collection of diverse Arab clans plus a smattering of other ethnic groups (such as Serbs these are the so called Bosnian Muslims who were Serbian Orthodox Christians before their forced conversion to Islam as well as Circassians and Chechens, all imported by the Ottoman Empire from their lands of origin to the Middle East, including the Land of Israel, several centuries ago), which, for reasons virtually identical to those of the Roman Empire, have, since Israel's Six Day War of 1967, publicly declared themselves to be a distinct ethnic nation named after those very same defunct Philistines this despite the fact that the ancient Philistines were not even Arabs. The other group of people were in fact the invaders. Jews lived in Judea and Judah long before any Arabs arrived in the area. It wasn't until the Arab invasion of 638 that they arrived in any numbers. Prior to that Jews had lived all across the Middle East including the Arabian peninsular and further afield. Medina was a Jewish town. Jews have always lived in the Holy Land, and the Israelites are the only ones who have ever had a claim to the land or had Jerusalem as the Capital, which has always been associated as being a Jewish city. The word "Palestinian" itself was invented by the Romans, Emperor Hadrian to be specific as a way to try and dispossess the Jewish people of the land. The word itself means "Invaders" so it is probably a good term for the ersatz "Jordanians" there at present claiming this new identity of "Palestinians" as they are invaders. The Palestinians are for all intents and purposes an invented people. Before 1967 they didn't exist at all they were all Jordanians and had Jordanian passports! The ones in Gaza were Egyptians and had Egyptian Passports. There has never been an independent sovereign Palestinian or Arab state there. Ever. Period. The Jews are the only ones who have ever had a sovereign independent nation there with its own currency, language, capital city and culture. In the time of King David and again today. The only other times in history it has either been under foreign rule and occupation e.g. the Romans, Ottoman Empire, the French and even British Empire, or it has been an isolated stateless barren wilderness without anyone claiming it or establishing a state there. What really happened in the Middle East: http://www.terrorismawareness.org/what-really-happened/ Even the Palestinians admit the truth about the Palestinian lie and where they really originate from e.g. Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbuM91PeSOs
