Am I allergic to wasp stings?

If I'm allergic to bee stings am I allergic to wasp stings to?

  • Okay about 10minuts ago, I got stung by a wasp. And I am really shaking, and it hurts really bad. Around the sting is like a hard bubble thing, it kinda looks like veins popping out of my skin, just skin color, like it's spreading. And I'm allergic to bees. I don't know what to do.. And my head hurts too...

  • Answer:

you should get to the hospital , some wasps have hemotoxins in their "sting" , that means the "sting" can cause cause necrosis/gangrene , for now you can get cetirizine tablet , its available over-the-counter at any chemist

If you're truly allergic, then your physician should have prescribed Epipen for you to keep on hand. It sounds as though you are having a normal reaction to the sting, not an allergic reaction that would close your throat to the point where you can no longer breath.
