How do I make a guy notice me?

There's this guy at my school and he's a grade older than me. I have never talked to him but I have said a few embarrassing things in the cafeteria a little too loud so he could here. He knows I'm there but he doesn't know anything about me. I'm way to nervous to talk to him, and he's always around his friends. How would I talk to him well still staying cool and not embarrassing myself? Also how could I make him notice me without his friends around? Thanks, Andrea ♥

If you want someone to notice you make friends with his friends try to infiltrate them by starting up as a friends friend. That's what I did and it worked
