Why is my MAMP MySQL server not starting?
-
I started building a WordPress site on my localhost about 2 months ago using MAMP and everything worked fine. I started up MAMP today for the first time in about a month and a half - - Apache Server is running, but MySQL server will not start. I haven't moved around any files since the last time I used it or anything and feel like I shouldn't have to mess with any of my original MySQL db settings since it worked great at setup time and I haven't messed with anything since... Is it as simple as an update? Or is it deeper? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
