Should I buy a nintendo 3DS?

  • I have a dsiXL and I only play pokemon games. Im planning to buy myself as a birthday gift to myself on August. So that I can trade pokes on my own. Should I buy nintendo 3ds or just wait for the next version of 3ds?

    Nintendo 3DS I personally have, it is actually good, but there is a health issue with the 3DS, such as your eyes, and it is unhealthy for your eyes if you use 3D mode for a long period of time, so what I do? I dont use the 3D that much, just regular visual. But i do love the way and designs of the 3DS, I have a cosmo black 3DS.

As far as I know, Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 are coming out for the regular DS as well... You should if you're a fan of exclusives, like Fire Emblem, Paper Mario, Super Smash Bros (<--- I Sure hope so) ETC.

You should probably wait. It's not very useful for you if you only play Pokemon. The next Pokemon game, Black and White 2, is not going to be 3DS. It will be DS still. And who knows how long it would be before a 3DS one came out. Unless you also play ALL kinds of Pokemon games (not just the ones where you are a trainer exploring the regions and getting badges), cause then there is Pokemon Rumble Blast 3D and Pokemon Conquest coming out. So then it would be useful. But if you don't play those it would not be as useful.

Well, there aren't any main series pokemon games on 3DS for the moment, so I'd recommend waiting until one is released. Maybe next year probably

I would buy the 3DS and use your current ds as a trade in to get credit for it. There will be more pokemon games released for the ds but there are also some pokemon games that are 3ds only. It is not very expensive at the moment. I bought mine for $160 brand new at best buy. There is a new color being made for it which they will start selling in June (a nice looking purple) they are discontinuing the current blue model.
