How do I make a RCA to VGA cable?

I am trying to hook up an RCA cable to my VGA monitor?

  • I have an acer X203H LCD monitor with VGA input. I want to comment my Xbox 360/ playstation 3. I have bought a VGA to RCA adapter cable but it doesn't seem to be working and all the monitor says is cable not connected. Is there anything I can do to make it work?

    Won't work. Count the number of pins on the VGA plug. How many are on the RCA cable? The video signal MUST be kept separate, not bundled into an RCA cable's two conductor. Hope you didn't pay much for that scam.

Not sure what you mean by an RCA cable to VGA. I don't think that will work. RCA cable goes to a regular TV with composite video input. The monitor connects to a computer's video card or chipset.
